Seraphina
Seraphina's Story
Seraphina / Female / 1 year / 50 lbs / Bulldog mix / Good with Dogs / Good with Kids / Untested with Cats / Local Intake / Fostered in Toronto
Meet Seraphina!
Seraphina is described by her foster family as friendly, playful and curious. She loves attention, a good game of fetch and cuddly naps. Even though she is new to life with people, Seraphina is quick to trust, show affection and share her silly side. When she isn’t engaged with her people you can find her tossing her kong down the stairs for her own game of fetch, or snoring the afternoon away.
As an easy going gal, Seraphina would be ok in any type of living situation. She loves to walk, sniff and explore so a yard would be a bonus, but as long as she is given adequate exercise and access to greenspace she is a good candidate for an apartment or condo as well.
Seraphina likes to spend her days near her humans. She is social and friendly with people she knows, and usually quick to trust new people. She has been apprehensive of men who she can’t see clearly, but overall is a happy, trusting girl. Children are the best in her eyes. She is gentle and calm when interacting with them, and to her they are just more people to give her attention and share toys with. Seraphina would do amazing in a home with children.
Seraphina is very social and loves to meet other dogs. She is gentle and has a good sense of other dogs' willingness to engage. Joining a home with another social pup, or having opportunities to socialize would be great for her. Seraphina has not had the opportunity to meet cats yet, but with proper introductions could be ok with them.
This girl is full of energy. She will need daily activities to be physically and mentally stimulated. Seraphina currently gets 3 walks per day and has time with her toys. Walking on leash is new for her, but she is making great progress with her manners. She really enjoys taking in the sights and smells, and absolutely loves to meet people she passes.
Seraphina is looking for a family who can provide her with structure, continue her training and is around more often than not as she learns to feel safe. She is a strong girl, so will need support as she continues to learn her leash manners. In foster care she is working on her skills and has mastered a few already! Treats and making her humans happy are easy motivators and she is a dream to work with. Seraphina is also crate trained and doing well to have free reign around the house.
