Meet Lottie!

This little ball of fur came to us from Manitoba with her sister, Wren. Lottie’s fosters describe her as curious, playful, friendly and full of spunk! If you are looking for a young pup who is ready to learn all about the world and become the best companion, Lottie is your gal.

In true puppy fashion Lottie loves to explore and stay busy. You will find her playing with and chewing on toys, running around and exploring outside, or staring at her humans with the best puppy dog eyes and big ears. She is very affectionate, but not big on cuddles. Lottie seems to be comfortable and confident with independent play for her age. She loves puzzles and enrichment to stimulate her clever brain.

After only a short time Lottie has learned so much. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is still working on her manners and learning what life is like within a home. Lottie will require a lot of time and patience as she continues developing her skills, especially while she teethes and learns what is and is not allowed.

Lottie is a dream on walks. She enjoys sniffing her way through the neighbourhood and does not show signs of fear at other people or sounds. Lottie does have the support of her foster's resident dog who is helping show her the way. Lottie would make a great addition to a family with another dog as long as they can handle all her puppy antics. Lottie has not met children, but given her age and demeanor we think she will do well with respectful dog-savvy kids.

With her breed, Lottie has the potential to grow a lot and become quite furry. She is looking for an active family in a home with a yard, or access to greenspace nearby. She will likely require frequent brushing as the seasons change as well.

Lottie will make an amazing addition to any family. Her curious, silly, spunky personality shines through and her love of learning will make the chaos of puppy raising so much fun!

As a condition of the adoption contract, Lottie’s new family will be required to:

- Ensure she has an opportunity to go outside every 2-3 hours. If you work full time, this means hiring a dog walker to come in 2x per day for a puppy visit
- Attend and complete a basic obedience class at your own cost (proof required).
- Provide plenty of socialization opportunities – both dog and human – it's important at this stage.
- Spay/neuter within 6 months of adoption. If done at our partner vet in Mississauga, the spay/neuter will be included in the adoption fee. If you choose to do it elsewhere, it will be done at your own cost. Proof of neuter is required to finalize the adoption.
