Mama is a sweet, gentle, and easygoing cuddlebug who’s happiest curled up beside her person, soaking up affection. She came into care with a relaxed demeanor and has charmed everyone she’s met with her calm, friendly energy and love for naps, short walks, and head scratches.

Mama enjoys quiet strolls, beach visits, and cuddling up after a walk. She gets adorably excited when she sees her leash and will do happy little hops while you get ready. She’ll occasionally play with toys if offered but mostly prefers relaxing and being near her humans.

She’s confident in the home and unfazed by most sounds but may flinch slightly at loud trucks during walks—something she’s improving with. At home, she’s very mellow and low maintenance, snoozing in her bed or gently asking for pets (and nudging your hand if you stop too soon!).

Mama is friendly and affectionate with people she knows. She may bark briefly at guests but quickly warms up with a few sniffs and is always eager for attention. She hasn’t been formally tested with children but, based on her gentle nature, would likely do well with respectful, dog-savvy kids, keeping in mind that her size means she could accidentally knock over smaller children.

Her ideal home could be a house, townhouse, or condo, with or without a yard, in a quieter area or the city. Mama does well when left alone for a few hours but thrives with companionship—her perfect match is a home where someone is around often or enjoys having a dog nearby during the day.

Mama is dog social and enjoys meeting dogs on walks, though she may get excited and pull slightly. She could live with another friendly, well-matched dog after a proper introduction. She’s shown curiosity about cats on walks and may chase, so a cat-free home is preferred unless adopters are prepared for a very slow and structured intro.

Her energy level is moderate. She gets 3–4 short walks a day (10–30 minutes) and will occasionally play indoors. She walks well on leash overall, though she may pull slightly at the start or when interested in passing dogs or people.

Mama is fully housetrained and has excellent house manners. She previously did fine in a crate, but now has free roam and is trustworthy in a baby-gated space when alone. She doesn’t chew, doesn’t bark, and sleeps soundly through the night on her dog bed. She may sneak onto the couch or swipe food from low tables, so snacks should be tucked away!

She knows basic commands, is food-motivated, and eager to please. She may benefit from some light leash training but is a joy to walk and manage overall. Mama has no known health issues, has never bitten, and shows no signs of separation anxiety.
